DoD Directive 4140.1 authorizes editorial revisions and the processing of transshipments. It also provides authorization for DoD to process PODs.
The Ocean Cargo Manifest Data Entries are used for non-DTS shipments. The data elements include the shipment unit identifier code, the weight of the shipment unit, and the mode/method code. The mode/method code indicates the method of forwarding the shipment.
