The DD Form 3067-7 – SMART Scholarship Phase 1 Annual Report is an official Department of Defense (DoD) form that tracks the progress of students awarded scholarships under the Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship-for-Service Program. The SMART program makes full-tuition awards to undergraduate and graduate-level students pursuing studies in one of 21 academic disciplines critical to national security. Upon graduation, scholars fulfill a service commitment with a DoD sponsoring facility. The SMART Program also assists in developing and retaining current DoD civilian STEM employees by offering scholarships to eligible graduates of civilian colleges and universities.
